Show - Found With His Throat Cut. The police at Sanymount have received re-ceived information that John C. Dob-byn, Dob-byn, a clerk in the employment of Wilfred Wil-fred Haughton & Co., City quay, was j found dead at his brother's house on j Saturday with his throat cut from ear to ear. He had Just returned to his brother's house, 30 Sanymount road, after spending a couple of months' holidays in the country, and he resumed re-sumed business on Friday morning. That-night at 10 o'clock he called at his brother's bedroom and asked for a razon, saying that he had left his own in the country. He got the razor and retired to his bedroom, and when he did not come down to breakfast next morning his brother went to his bedroom bed-room and found him with his fact downward with his throat cut from ear to ear, and the razor lying on the floor near him. Dr. Synnott, Tri ton-vine ton-vine road, was called in, and the township town-ship ambulance was also sent for. When the doctor arrived he pronounced life extinct. It is stated that some three years ago, after a severe attack of influenza, deceased was confined for a couple of months in the Carlow lunatic luna-tic asylum, but since that time has shown no signs of illness. At an inquest held on Saturday by the county coroner (Mr. Friery. solicitor) solici-tor) the jury returned a verdict that the deceased committed suicide while temporarily insane. |
