By special request they will f repeat the "Ecce Panis" on Sunday. Mr Murnhv was for many years the I leading baritone of the Creighton col- lege choir at Omaha. A very large congregation attended I mass on Ash Wednesday. Rev. Father ' Kiely officiated and blessed the ashes I before mass. Rev. Father gave a short S but interesting sermon on the meaning I of the blessed ashes, and recommended - the congregation to faithfully attend 1 an the Lenten cervices. Benediction of i the Blessed Sacrament was given In the evening. The members of the 9 o'clock choir will Tender all the music for the Lenten services. Former members of the choir are also requested to assist. Many of j those who sang in the St. Cecilian choir ; for some years past think they should not sing now on account of not doing active work. This idea is quite wrong. The Benediction services, the Vespers, the Stations of the Cross and the beautiful beau-tiful hymns they learned are still sung, i and their attendance will be much appreciated. ap-preciated. Florence Halloran was the little soloist so-loist at the 9 o'clock mass last Sunday, The week morning mass is celebrated at 8 o'clock. ; 1 The Lenten regulations are published in this week's issue of The Intermoun- i tain Catholic. Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament ! is given every Wednesday night at 7:30 and Stations of the Cross are said on Friday night. Rev. Father Cushnahan, Ogden's dearly loved and popular pastor, spent a few hours in the city on Thursday. His many friends regret that his visits vis-its are always so few and so hurried. The hours for the concert rehearsals are at 3 o'clock for the little girls, 4 o'clock for the advanced class, 5 o'clock for the bovs on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. On Sunday morning morn-ing at 9:30 a special rehearsal for the young ladies is called. On St. Patrick's eve, Monday, March 16, the annual concert will take place at the Salt Lake theatre. Tickets Tick-ets are now on sale. Great preparations are being made to have the concert a complete success. The best local talent, consisting of the All Hallow's College orchestra, Miss Edna Egan, harpist. Miss Lottie Levy, Miss Jane Mcintosh, Charles Kent and Fred Graham will take part in the programme, pro-gramme, together with 100 children of the Cathedral Junior choir. All the children taking part in the St Patrick's concert must attend the rehearsals on Saturday and Sunday. If there are any children who wish to take part in the entertainment who have not been to the previous rehearsals, rehears-als, they are welcome to come on Saturday, Sat-urday, but after that date no more will be accented. The "fairies" will have a special rehearsal re-hearsal on Sunday at 2 o'clock sharp. Mrs. T. B. O'Reilley and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Luce are the ladies appointed to attend to the altars this week. Professor MacNamara, the National Healer, is now at the Manitou hotel conducting a sanitarium where all , chronic diseases are treated success-' success-' fully.
