Show JUDGE MEMORIAL HOME. Incidents That Will Transpire at Laying of Corner-stone Sunday. The laying of the corner stone of the Judge memorial home will take place on Sunday afternoon at 5:30. The ceremony cere-mony will be conducted by Rt. Rev. L. Scanlan, who will be assisted by the clergy of the cathedral. The new home will have two large wings.' One will be set apart as home for the aged miners who spent their best days amid hardships while extracting ex-tracting ore from the-hills of Utah. In the new home they will have that care and attention which" their lives of hard labor richly deserve. The second sec-ond wing of the new institution will be used for hospital purposes, and will be fitted up in the most modern style. The site chosen for the Memorial home stands on an elevation on the eastern bench, and gives a commanding view not only of the city, but of the entire Salt Lake valley. I The employes of the Silver . King, learning of the laying of the corner stone telephoned that It was their wish to present the generous donor (who contributed sufficient means both for the purchase of the 6ite and the erection erec-tion of the building), with a silver trowel. The trowel is finished and bears the following Inscription: "Presented to Mrs. Mary Judge, by the miners of the Silver King, Park City, Utah, on the occasion of the laying lay-ing of the corner stone of the Judge memorial miners' home and hospital. "Salt Lake City, Aug. 31, 1902."
