Show ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION OF ST. MARY'S ACADEMY. A delightful , reunion of the graduates gradu-ates of St. Mary's academy was held on Thursday evening, June 19, at St. Mary's academy. About twenty-five were present, zn letters were received from manv, ex-1 ex-1 pressing regret for their absence and wishing God speed to the celebration of former classmates and companions and friends gathered within the hal-owed hal-owed walls of their cherished Alma Mater. Many of the sisters were present, pres-ent, and among the honored guests was Sister Sylvia, one of the best known and popular teachers of former years at St. Mary s. The members met at St. Mary's at 6 o'clock to hold an informal meeting, after which, at 7:30. all adjourned to the banquet hall, which was charmingly decorated with alumnae colors, while flowers of the ;y ' t '..,. 1" . '.-..'. season were in evidence everywhere. ' . Rt. Rew Bishop" Seanlan' and Rev. Father Kiely were the guests of honor of the evening. Rev. Father Klely acted act-ed as toastmaster and responses were made by Mrs. N. H. Dunyon, who spoke feelingly of "Alma Mater." She was followed by Miss Mary Kinney in a brief but beautifully chosen words for "The Bishop and Clergy." Miss Folsom, speaking ' on "Past Recollections," Recollec-tions," stirred hosts of memories both j tender and gay, in the hearts of all the "old girls." Miss Gleason said a few-words few-words in honor of Miss Mary Luce, '91, who will soon leave Salt Lake, and the banqueters then adjourned to the meeting meet-ing room where a delightful evening was spent playing games and other amusements, led by the charming president, pres-ident, Miss Francis Phillipps. The members regretted the absense of Mrs. J. C. Sullivan, formerly Miss Mary Shea, who is in mourning for her father. A pleasant feature of the evening even-ing was the , presenting of beautiful souvenirs to the graduates by Sister' Lucreatia. A -very handsome shower bouquet of carnations was given to Sister Sis-ter Luci;etia by the members, who sincerely sin-cerely appreciate the ever increasing kindness of Sister Superior to the "old girls." At a late hour' the graduates I adjourned, hoping to meet next year at dear St. Mary's.
