P., pastor of St. Dominic's church, in this city, t j came as a shock to his many friends ( here last week. He left on Sunday s evening for New York City, where he will take charge of a parish numbering 12,000 members. His successor at St. Dominic's is the Rev. Frank O'Neil, the I youngest pastor in the city. He is in I every way fitted for his new mission. Bishop Matz was in Central Cjty last i Sunday, -where he confirmed a large 1 class. Father Larkin's home at the present time is in Louisiana, Louisi-ana, and his many friends and former students of the college will be so delighted de-lighted to welcome his coming, and many glad greetings will he receive. Montana Catholic. Rev. Bishop Brondel has completed his itinerary for his annual episcopal visitation. He will not visit many places this year, yet he will be traveling trav-eling until about Sept. 7. On the 29th of thi.s month the bishop will be at St. Peter's mission, and July 6th at Great Falls, at St. Ann's church. He will be at St. Mark's church, at Belt, on July 10. He will -also visit the. following other places: Fort Benton, July 13; Chinook mission. July 15; Townsend, July 20; Deer Lodge, July 27; St. Ignatius Igna-tius mission, July 31; Helena, Aug. 3; Livingston, Aug. 10: Clancy, Aug. 17; Philipsburg, Aug. 24; Helmville, Aug. 27; Hamilton. Aug. 31: Anaconda, Sept. 7, at St. Paul's church at 11 o'clock in the morning, and at St. Peter's church at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Jack St. Clair of the Oregon Short Line went down to Salt Lake last week. W. J. Hickey of Honolulu arrived on Ihe late train from the north last night and is staying at the Butte.
