Show OFF EOR THE NORTH. Salt Lakers Go to Establish Councils of Knights of Columbus. The degree team of the Salt Lake council. Knights of Columbus, left Thursday night for Spokane and Butte, where they will institute new councils of the order. The party was accompanied accom-panied by a number of tlic local knights. They will be at Spokane I June 29. and the council at Butte will be instituted July 6. At the "latter place the degree will be conferred upon over sixty candidates, and at Spokane a large number will be initiated. ini-tiated. In Spokane the team will be met by a large number of eastern knights, who have been making a tour of the coast. The degree team will be in charge of George J. Gibson, the territorial deputy. dep-uty. The position of grand knight will be filled by E. F. Stolzenberger. The other members of tbe team are N. P. Dooly, R. A. Canning. J. G. Gallagher and H. A. Morrison. Next week a large party of local knights will go to Butte to witness the inauguration of the i lodge there. |
