Show POCATELLO. ' , f A very pleasant farewell party was given by the P. O. C. club, in honor of the Misses Lyda and Bernadette Byrne ' at the St. Joseph hall, Saturday, July : 19. The young folks danced until 1 1 o'clock, when refreshments were served. Mrs. W. A. Simpson then presented the Misses Byrne with a dainty souve- ( : nir as a token of respect from the club. ' Fred McCrackcn has gone on a visit to Denver. . j John McManis. "Fatty" Rounds. Dan -j Swinehart, Walt Eubanks, Sam Win- I ters and L. N. Huggins of. Granger t have gone on a trip to Hailey at the I head of Malad river for a week's fish- ing. Mr. Huggins is taking "long chances" in that crowd. They expect to have a good time for a week, how- m ever. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Law returned to Los Angeles after a three weeks' visit with us. during which time they wit- i nessed the opening of the reservation. Mr. Law has a prospect in the hills that he says has the right appearance to him. and he would like to have stayed longer, but his position in the Southern Pacific, shops at Los Angeles demanded his return. He expects to come back to Pocatello in the fall again. |
