Show it y m 1 f Miss Julia Farley. The death of Miss Julia Farley, which occurred last Saturday at the home of Mrs. Margaret Blaine Salisbury, caused deep sorrow in the hearts of all who knew and loved her well. For the past twenty-five years, Miss Farley was a member of the Salisbury family, the confidential friend and companion of the gracious, lovely mistress of the Salisbury Sal-isbury home, whose heart fias been torn and broken with the awful visitation of death. To Mrs. Salisbury the death of Miss Farley is a personal loss. She it was who fairly raised the "little Sal-isburys" Sal-isburys" to manhood and womanhood. She it was who closed the eyes of the dear loved ones of the family in their last long sleep. To the family she was the dear "Aunt Julia," and now that she has gone forever, there is in their hearts the deepest sorrow. All that love and affection affec-tion could do, was done to prolong her life, but without avail, and on Saturday last, fortified with the sacraments of the church to which she was so devoted, she passed away, leaving the memories of a life, so filled with Christian purity, sweetness and holiness that her memory mem-ory is an inspiration. The funeral took place Monc'ay afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. Father Curran, her loved spiritual zdvlser, officiated and paid a tenderly beautiful tribute to the saintly Christian Chris-tian woman, who had entered into her eternal rest. May her sweet, pure soul rest in peace! |
