Show ( BUTTE, MONT. Marriage licenses were issued last week to Jerry Sullivan and Anna Mc-Glynn Mc-Glynn of Walkerville and Michael Fer-itur Fer-itur and Mary Shea. Thomas Kearney and Julia May Kearns, Birchard H. Mit?he!l and Alice McAlone and Edward Ed-ward Ress Wilkes and Margaret Miller, Mil-ler, all of Butte. The Knights of Columbus held initiation initia-tion in the Elks' lodge rooms Wednesday Wednes-day of last week and added twenty-one new members to the organization. The degree was conferred by M. B. Burke, assisted by Phil Greenan, warden of Anaconda council. . C. P. Nevin was chairman of the social session. Jack Stuart and M. Hartz entertained with songs. Rev. Father Lechner, W. B. Daly, Judge Lynch, James Barry. Larry Lar-ry Duggan and T. R. Jackson delivered addresses. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ledwidge added a beautifully appointed dinner to the happenings of last week, entertaining on last Sunday complimentary to Mrs. Thompson Campbell of Salt Lake City. The table was prettily trimmed in red flowers, red candles and red ribbons, and an elaborate menu served. Around the table were Mrs. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Boucher. Miss Hallie Boucher, Miss Alice McGuire, Bert Ledwidge and the host and hostess. Miss Mary O'Day of Anaconda spent Thanksgiving day with relatives in Butte. Mrs. Arthur J. O'Keefe of Tacoma is in the city, the guest of Mrs. O. O. Mercer, 535 West Silver street. |
