Show EVANST0N, WY0. j Mrs. P. Murray spent Thanksgiving with her daughters at Cumberland. Ed Cashin arrived last week rmm Butte to spend Thanksgiving. He is employed as cashier by the Hermingson Produce company. Rooert X. Sneddon and Miss Flora Taylor were quietly married last week at Cheyenne. Tlie bride for rour years has been a teacher in the Cheyenne schools, and is a young lady of much personal charm, while the groom is the son of Thomas Sneddon, superintendent of the Diamondville mines, and holds a clerical position with United States Senator C D. Clark. Thursday evening of last week Miss Cecelia Gottstein was the hostess at a very enjoyable card party. The game played was military 500, and is a most novel and fascinating game. Each table ta-ble is called a fort, and four people are assigned to a fort, tW4 of them I being required to defend it against invasion in-vasion while the other two gi scouting scout-ing for honors or flags, the couple gaining gain-ing the most flags after this fashion being declared the winners. The game was played with great interest and provided pro-vided an evening of great enjoyment for the fortunate guests. Miss Clare-Peterson Clare-Peterson and J. T. Booth succeeded in carrying off the honors, the lady's prize being a sterling silver bon-bon spoon, while the gentleman's prize was a hand painted napkin ring of rare and beautiful design. The guests numbered about forty-five. A delicious course luncneon was served. The. guests of honir were Misses Naomi Hamilton and Olsen of Oeden. |
