Show HELENA, MONT. Representative J. E. O'Connor of Canton is a guest at The Helena. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Toomey of Deer Lodge are visitors in the city. Paul McCormick of Billings is in the city on business. A pretty home wedding occurred on Thursday at high noon at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. C. C. Young, j 24 South Benton avenue, when her daughter, Miss Mary S. Young, was married to William Huse Young, Rev. Father Sullivan of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, officiating. The bride wore a becoming gown of white chiffon cloth with trimmings of point lace. She wore a veil and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. Miss Flinn, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid brides-maid and wore blue crepe de chene and carried La France roses. Robert Flynn acted as best man. The house had been most artistically decorated for the occasion. A fishnet twined with asparagus as-paragus fern made a pretty canopy, under which the bridal party stood. A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony. cere-mony. The decorations in the dining room were chiefly green. The centerpiece center-piece of the small round table was a high basket of different colored grapes, whi3c-teauiiirc---cfaal)araus .fern hung from the chandelier to the four candlesticks with their green candles and shades. The wedding gifts were very beautiful, being chiefly of silver and cut glass. Mr. and Mrs. Young left the same afternoon for a short visit in the east. The bride's golng-away golng-away gown was of plum colored broadcloth, broad-cloth, with hat to match. Mrs. Young is a most popular young woman and has a host of warm friends who will wish her much happiness in her new life. Mr. Young has lived in Helena a short time and is connected with the Helena Hardware company. Miss Hazel Remington and Miss Dorothy Dor-othy Supernant of Lewistown, are in the city, the guests of Miss Mary Sheriff Sher-iff and Miss Grace McLean, 327 North Ewing street. E. L. Flaherty is confined to his home on Broadway with a severe attack at-tack of rheumatism. He has been ill for about a week. |
