Yale evolves a new edition for his I" Everlasting Devil's Auction," each one of which surpasses its predecessor prede-cessor with the beauties of its ensem- 1 bles, scenic grandeur and marvelous ballets. The production for this, the twenty-fifth continuous year of success, suc-cess, will be far and way ahead of former for-mer presentations of. this wonderful play. New ballets, new scenery, music and specialties should make this season's sea-son's production of Charles H. Yale's Everlasting, always to be reme;nb-'ied. never forgotten, never excelled, alwa; s welcome "Devil's Auction" a memorable memor-able one. There will be but one performance per-formance (Monday night), at the Salt Lake theater. One of the unquestioned hits of New York City's last three seasons will be seen at the Satl Lake theater next Tuesday evening and the remainder of the week. "Checkers," the dramatization dramatiza-tion of Henry M. Blossom, jr.'s book of tbt.iiame, will then be produced. The crVticV comments on the play in New Yorll Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston ha'e left no doubt in those cities cit-ies at least f that "Checkers" found emphatic em-phatic favcr and the undisputed statement state-ment that tfaa .houses have been packed by people eager to see it is a practical indorsement of the theatrical view. The play appeals to the lovers of "the sport of kings" and also to the lovers of the old, old story in language new. Hans Robert plays the title role and he makes his appearance here with New York City's cordial recommendation. The company is very large, 150 people being be-ing engaged in the race track scene. Isabelk Parker is the leading woman and Lyflia Dickson, who has one of her famous ! slavery parts, and Dave Br:i-ham, Br:i-ham, j;:., as "Push" Miller, the tout, are 'stiljl in the company.
