Show 1 0GDEN, UTAH. t i Sacred Heart Academy. (Special Correspondence.) In true holiday decorations was the chapel Easter Sunday morning. A new sanctuary carpet lent beauty to the immaculate im-maculate altars, while the floral display j was in keeping with the Alleluia spirit of the occasion. Mass was celebrated at 7:30 by Rev. P. U. Cushnahan. The pupils also attended the high mass at St. Joseph's church at 10:30, where the services were of a most impressive character. char-acter. A late sleep Monday morning inaugurated inaugu-rated the holiday which will be ever filled with pleasant memories for the class of 1910. At the home of Miss Krauss, one of, their number, they were rosally entertained. The class colors, gold and white, prevailed in the decorations, decora-tions, and after partaking of a delicious dinner, games of amusement filled the hours until, all too reluctantly, the day's pleasure was ended, but the recollections recol-lections will always remain for the class of 1910. The less fortunate misses at Sacred Heart amused themselves in true Easter fashion. Hunting for eggs, which had been concealed In every imaginable spot, proved no little diversion for the minims, min-ims, and those who were spectators at the interesting sport. Music and dancing danc-ing concluded the day's pleasure, and with the . parting strains of "Home, Sweet Home," rose visions of the fol lowing day's labors, for work must be I resumed with renewed energy. |
