Show ' Wedding Bells. A number of relatives and friends gathered at Sacred Heart church Saturday Sat-urday evening, Dec. 21, to witness the marriage of Miss May Gannon and Charles F.m McGuire. The ceremony was performed by the pastor. Rev. Edward Barry. S. J. The bride wore her traveling suit of brown chiffon broadcloth, with hat to match, and carried a prayer book. She was attend- ed by her sister. Miss Gertrude Gannon, Gan-non, who was daintily v gowned in white. Joseph Green was best man. After the ceremony supper was served the bridal party at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J, T. Gannon. The young couple then left for the east, where the honeymoon will be passed. Both Mr, and Mrs. McGuire are very popular in Denver social circles. The new- church of St. Mary Magdalene Magda-lene in Edgewater was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding on Thursday, Dec. 12. when Miss. Lillian Regina O'Hayre, daughter of James P. O'Hayre of Edgewater, became the bride of Francis Karich ,of Platteville, Colo. The ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. Father Desaul-niers. Desaul-niers. The bride wore a beautiful gown of light tan silk and carried bride's, roses. She was attended by her sister, Mis Nellie O.Hayre, who was gowned in Paris lawn over blue silk, and carried carnations. The bride's brother. James O.Hayre, was best man. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Barnes, 2414 -Clarkson street. Mr. and Mrs. Karich enjoyed a week's honeymoon and then went to their home in Platteville. The bride belongs to a family which has long figured in the agricultural history of Colorado. . She is a niece of Rev. W. J. Howlet of St. Ignatius church. Pueblo, Pue-blo, who some years ago was pastor of the Cathedral in Denver, and who still has many warm friends heie. |
