Show OMAHA, NEB. On Sunday. Oct. 6, Archbishop Ireland Ire-land of St. Paul made the principal address at the laying of the cornerstone corner-stone of the St. Cecilia's cathedral, devoting his remarks to a discussion of the present tendency to humanize and make of him an ordinary man. He said there is need today of the old orthodox or-thodox religious views in settlement of public questions now vexing the people peo-ple and country. His being an address of protest againft the "modernization" of the church, he characterized the church as a patriotic as well as a religious re-ligious institution.
