Show I T0N0PAH, NEV. 1 1 (Special Correspondence.) The Knights of Columbus of Gold-field Gold-field and Tonopah ate to have a joint initiation at Goldfield, Nov., Sunday. Oct. 13, in commemoration of the landing land-ing of Columbus. The invitations are out' which promise the "greatest fraternal fra-ternal treat ever conducted under the order in the west. Tonopah council will confer the first degree, Goldfield council will exemplify exempli-fy the second degree, and a select team from another state will conduct the neophytes ne-ophytes through the mysteries of the third degree. There are seventy five candidates for the honors of the order. Miss Goore has returned from her vacation looking refreshed and invigorated invig-orated from her trip. J. Pojuade of Carson was down on legal business during the past week. Mrs. J. P. O'Brien left for the coast during the week, taking her two children, chil-dren, Anita and Anson, to place them in school in California. Miss O'Meara entertains for Mrs. Hatch during the week. Mrs. Ahern leaves this week for a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Agustus Klamt, In Rhyollte. |
