Show BUTTE, MONL Miss Nellie Sheehan, who has spent several days with Anaconda friends, lias returned home. Miss Nellie Dougherty of Boulder valley is visiting in Butte. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Wall and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Walker went over to Helena the early part of the week in Mr. Wall's auto car. Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Brophy and children chil-dren left on Tuesday for Evanston, Wyo., called there by the serious illness ill-ness of Mr. Brophy's sister. Mr. and Mrs. James Regan have returned re-turned from a visit to New York and Norfolk, where they visited the exposition. ex-position. Mrs. Hunter B. Nelson, wife of Captain Cap-tain Nelson, U. S. A. .arrived in Butte on Friday to be the guest of her sister, Mrs. Thomas Lavelle, for some time. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Jones were guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Sheehy last week, leaving yesterday for Salt Lake and Denver. Mr. and Mrs. John Woodson of Missoula Mis-soula are guests in the city. Messrs. Dan and Howard Welch, with their sister. Miss Alice, have taken the Armstrong residence, 112 North Excelsior avenue, and will soon take possession. A very quiet wedding was solemnized at St. Patrick's church Wednesday of last week, when Miss Laura Hight became be-came the bride of Humphrey Burns, Father Follet officiating. They were attended at-tended by Miss Edna McLaughlin and Will Hight. After a short wedding trip to the coast they will be at home to their friends in this city. |
