Show If the Albany is not a home for the commercial traveler and- tourist, what is home? The guest arriving either morning, noon or night, is cheerfully greeted, and, after being assigned to a room by an obliging clerk, may shortly afterward aft-erward be found enjoying the ladies' balcony, overlooking the rotunda, or resting in one of the many cosy corners for which the Albany is famous. After a short rest out to see the sights of Denver not "downtown." as is the usual expression, for the Albany is right in the center of town, and it is only a five minutes' walk to any of the large department stores for which Denver Den-ver is noted. If to any of the gardens for the evening, take an electric car right at the Stout street entrance. If to the Broadway, Tabor or Orpheum theatres, it is only a three-minutes' walk. Back at the Albany after a shopping tour, a matinee, or a refreshing ride to ! the gardens, you find yourself seated in one of the large easy chairs in Bohemia Bo-hemia or the Gentlemen's Grill, where you may order a sizzling chop or bird, and have the same accompanied by a cold boftle, all of which is served in correct style. Or you may retire to the Ladies' Cafe, where will be served you fresh eggs, chop, steak or crisp bacon, appetizing to a turn; or fruits that are tempting, toast snappy with the life of the live coals, or rolls crisp and tender; ten-der; coffee, the aroma of which makes the days worth while. While enjoying these good things of life, the sweet strains of the ladies' orchestra or-chestra are wafted from room to room, and later you retire to your room content con-tent with all the world. You wake in a room that is scrupulously scrupu-lously clean where the cleaning is all done by the vacuum air process. ' Maybe all this doesn't appeal to you. If it doesn't, we are loser by nothing but your patronage, much as we appreciate appre-ciate that. Frankly, whether it fits your case or not, do not you think it attractive from the view-point of most men and women? Won't you come in when you are next in town, if not to stop with us,' at least to look the Albany Al-bany over? And Won't you tell your friends. |
