Show Home at Last. Out of the dismal darkness Into the blessed light. Out of the tempest's fury Into the haven bright. Out of the parching desert Unto the pasture's sod, Out from a life of wandering, Come I to Thee, dear God. Oft I could hear Thee calling! Though I long yearned to come, Hundreds of years of error Rendered my spirit dumb. Cold was the world around me, I but a frozen clod. Still I could hear Thee calling; Now, I have come, dear God. Wrap close Thy mantle round me, I am so weak and cold; Give me the strength of those who Ever have known Thy fold, Tender and patient Shepherd, Pity the sheep that stray, Deaf to Thy gentle pleading, Lost to Thy gentle pleading, Lost to the Heavenly way!
