Show LIVINGSTON. Livingston. Sept. 15. A quiet event j which marked the initial day of real existence of Thomas H. Stevenson and i Miss Nellie Nallen was solemnized Thursday evening at St. Mary's church. Rev. Father Pirnat officiated. Only a few intimate friends of the contracting contract-ing parties witnessed the ceremony. Miss Nallen's home is at Waverly, Minn., but during her residence in this city she has made many friends, who join in extending their best wishes. The groom has been employed in the office of Superintendent Horn for the past three years, but recently resigned to accept the position of court stenographer. stenog-rapher. He is a popular young man and has manv friends. The couple will shortly go to housekeeping on the north side. The scholars in the Sacred Heart Academy have become accustomed to their new building and are glad of the privilege of attending the school. The rooms that were not completed at the opening of the term are now almost finished, and bv another week all the school rooms will be completed. The attendance for the first week has increased in-creased to almost 160 scholars, and before be-fore many more days several new scholars will enter the academy. |
