Hagenbarth and the children left for the north on Wednesday Wed-nesday night to spend the summer months. f- Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Sullivan spent last Sunday in Ogden. f Mrs. Sullivan .of Ruffe is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew J. Cro-nin. Cro-nin. Cards have been issued for the marriage mar-riage of Miss Lulu Bell Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.' P. Kelley of Park City, and Thomas J. Fanning of this citv. which takes place on Thursday at Park City, the reception to be given at the home of the groom's parents in this city Thursday evening. f The report of-the Salt Lake Security & Trust company published in this issue shows what success may be attained at-tained by thrift and close attention to business. A perusal of its assets and liabilities certified to by the secretary of state shows the institution to be in a strong financial basis. . f Cards have been received by many. friends announcing the marriage of Miss Katherine MeCormick of Los Angeles and W. P. O'Meara of this this city. Mr. and Mrs. O'Meara will be at home after September 1. James H. Fitzgerald, an old resident of Bingham, died on Thursday. The deceased was born in Kentucky and came to Bingham in 1876 with his mother an(L,four brothers, three of whom still survive. The deceased was single. The cause of his death was Bright's disease. He was 53 years of age. The funeral will take place tomorrow to-morrow in Bingham. f Mark McChrystal has returned from New York. f Miss Angela Kinney, who has been attending school at Georgetown during the past winter, will arrive in the city this week. Mrs. John E. Woodward was the hostess hos-tess of a luncheon, followed by a bridge party. Monday afternoon in honor of Mrs. Theodore Baldwin and Mrs. H. B. Tower. Thirty guests were bidden. I David Keith returned this week from a visit of several weeks in southern California and Nevada. f - Mrs. Arthur H. S. Bird was the hostess host-ess last Saturday at a luncheon at the Country club given in honor of Miss Stella Salisbury. x John Lewis, manager of Keith-O'Brien Keith-O'Brien company, has gone to New York City. f Mrs. Abbott R. Hey wood of Ogden was the guest of Miss Frances Phillips last week. Miss Marguerite Donnellan of Pacific Grove arrived last Saturday. She is the guest at the Bintz home. Mrs. Theodore A. Baldwin of Fort Assinniboine, Mont., is in the city visiting vis-iting her mother, Mrs. Judge. Mrs. William McCaskell entertained at luncheon for Miss Stella Salisbury during the week. Miss Constance Kirkpatrick rave a luncheon during the week for Mrs. Theodore A Baldwin and Miss Stella Salisbury. Mrs. John E. Dooly is in Muskegon, visiting with Mrs. Elizabeth Genter and her father. -f Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Rogers will leave the city next month to reside in California for the future. Their many friends deeply regret their departure, but wish them the best of luck and happiness in their new home. |
