John Pesdriach and Katie Thomack were on Tuesday married at Patrick's by Rev. Father Harrington. James Kane and Margaret Ryan were marrfed Wednesday afternoon at St. Patrick's. $ At. St. Patrick's Saturday morning, Rev. Father Kamarawski united in marriage John Maliscich and Miss Millar. Mil-lar. A nuptial mass preceded the ceremony. Rev. Father Kamarawski of the diocese dio-cese of Scranton, Penn., who has been a guest of the priests of St. Patrick's during the past week, left for Great Falls on Monday. During his stay in Butte, the Rev. Father was busilv engaged en-gaged in looking after the spiritual interests in-terests of his countrymen who reside in this vicinity. Rev. Father McCourt, late of San Francisco. who was a visitor at the parochial residence, last week returned re-turned on Monday to his parish at Philisburg. i On Sunday Father McCourt deliv-! deliv-! ered two instructive and eloquent ser- j mons at the morning and evening services. ser-vices. , Bishop Brondel is expected home this week from his European tnip. Rev. Father Desiere, the esteemed pastor of St. Patrick's, who has been making an extended visit to Europe will probably return to Butte about the middle of June. Patrick J. Hamilton, proprietor of the Hamilton block has gone to Europe. Samuel Mulville, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of Butte, has just returned from a month's trip through Idaho. Mr Mul-yille Mul-yille will shortly move his family to his ranch located in the Lost River country, Idaho. u Judge- W. W. Dixon has ' returned from a trm to the east. ?5 Judge J J. McHatton visited Helena on legal business this week. Miss Alice McAndrews. one of the most popular young Jadies in this community, contemplates taking a trip to Cape Nome next month. J. J. O'Meara, who represented Division Div-ision No. 1 A. O. H. at the National convention, Boston, returned home on Tuesday evening. Mr. O'Meara speaks in the most enthusiastic and glowing terms of the grand display made by the delegates, especially at the public ; parade, which he states was one of the most magnificent demonstrations he ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Mr. Alex II. Tarbet of Salt Lake City, was a visitor to Butte during the week. |
