Show PRESS NOTICES. The great organ in St. Mary's cathedral cathe-dral will be formally opened Friday, Dec. 4, with a grand sacred concert under un-der the direction of Miss Nora Gleason, director of the choir. Professor J. J. McClellan will play the first, tune on the great -organ. There will be a long and enjoyable musical program, including includ-ing the following numbers: Willard Weihe. violin virtuoso, selections from the Wagner "Parsifal;" Frederick Smith, basso for two years- with the Metropolitan Opera company, will sing the "Confutatis," from Verdi's "Requiem;" "Re-quiem;" M. J. Brines, tenor soloist of Trinity church, New ork. will sing the "Cujus Animam," from Rossini's "Sta-bat "Sta-bat Mater;" Mrs. J. W. Curtis, graduate of St. Mary's academy, Notre Dame, will sing- "Salve Regina," by Henshaw Dana; Mrs. Edward McGurrin will be the harp soloist; Mrs. P. L. . Hannifan of Poeatello, a graduate of the Berlin and Vienna conservatories, will sing "Salve Maria," by Mereadante, and Mrs; Stanley Price, M.. J. Brines and Frederick Freder-ick Smith will sing "Madre Del Sommo Amore," by Campana. Mrs. Hallie Foster Fos-ter Sutherland will be the contralto soloist: so-loist: Mrs. McGurrin, Mr. Weihe and |
