In connection connec-tion wifli the exercise? . an. amateur play, "S&int .-PaJrick, or the, Conversion Conver-sion of Ireland." will be presented, in which there-will be between 20.0 and 300 characters, fourteen - having speaking parts.- , t t The plot of -the play is a scene during dur-ing the ?early, part of the, fifteenth century. p.ortra3 ing the life of Ireland's patron saint.: Saint Patrick. The first act tells of his capture, the second his deliverance from captivity and return to France, the third his return. as ran apostle to Ireland, and the fourth the conversion of Ireland by Saint Patrick. The principal characters will be Ard-Righ.. high king, of Ireland, four provincial kings. Iriidi warriors returning re-turning from wars in Gaul, bards, ehietf-s. druids and children.
