Cosgriff spent Wednesday ni d Thursday in Denver as delegates at large from Wyoming to the convention of the American Bankers' association. i The wedding of Ted Niland of Cheyenne Chey-enne and Miss Mamie Shulte of Rock Springs took place at the home of the bride Wednesday evening. Sept. 23. Rev. Father Barrett officiated. After an elaborate supper the happy couple came to Cheyenne, where they will make their home. Mrs. Niland is a charming and accomplished young lady, while Mr. Niland is a son o? Master Mechanic Niland of this city. Both young people have many friends who extend to them their heartiest congratulations. congrat-ulations. James Kerrigan, a Cheyenne pioneer and one of the best known old-timers of the city, died at St. John's hospital Saturday evening, death resulting from cancer. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's cathedral. James Kerrigan came to the embryo city of Cheyenne in 1S67, marching overland from Jules-burg Jules-burg with United States troops. For twenty years he was employed at old Camp Carlin, and later worked in the LTniou Pacific shops here. He was 74 years of age, and is survived by a son and three daughters, who are: E. J. Kerrigan, Mrs. A. L. Leslie and Mrs. Agnes Granger, all of Cheyenne, and Mrs. McAlllister of Denver. |
