Show False Hair Devotees. Does the woman who wears during the day a pound of ruffs, a yard of "rat" and a bushel of other grafted tresses, always remember to brush her hair at night? If she does not, it Is to be feared that the wearing of false hair will be more serious an obligation than that imposed by the caprice of fashion. For the present mode of wearing false hair is one which, even with good care at night, threatens the future health of the scalp. It stops the circulation and, unless the hair is well ventilaled at night, there is bound to be irreparable damage done. Therefore, There-fore, let her whose head offers the same building inducements to stray birds as did the beard of the old man in ' the nonse verse be careful to take down her hair- each night and give it a thorough brushing. During the night she must either braid it or allow it to hang free, the latter of which methods is decidedly preferable. |
