Mrs. John Lewis and son of Eureka were the guests of Mrs. W. W. Wilson last week. Mrs. W. V. Wilson and daughter. Vera, spent last week in Thistle visiting visit-ing friends. Mrs. Albert W. Cavanaugh of New York City spent last Saturday here with Dr. and Mrs. Viko. Mrs. Cava-raugh Cava-raugh is making an extended trip through the west. Mr. and Mrs. William Fitzgerald are the parents of a fine son, born last week. Mrs. William Bowen and daughter, Agnes, left on Wednesday for Chicago, in response to a telegram stating that Mrs. Bowen's aged father is seriously ill. The long table was decorated in red, white and blue, three large bowls holding deep red poppies, white marguerites mar-guerites and blue corn flowers forming the floral decorations. Small flags were at each place, and each girl had a limerick suited to her individuality at her place. The guests, besides Miss Cheesman, were Mrs. Alpha T. Easton, Mrs. Ashby D.
