Show THE TALLEST FAMILY. Combined Height of Taggarts is Sixty-nine Feet. Newburg. N. Y- Is there a. taller family fam-ily in the world than that of the Taggarts Tag-garts of Newburg? Giants, all of them, arc the Taggarts, and some of them are growing still. So the turn total of their inches, impressive impres-sive as it is, may some day beat its own record. It was not many days ago that Mrs. Rebecca Bradley Taggart, mother of these phenomenal children, died and was buried. About her grave stood eight sons and three daughters, whose combined height was about sixty-nine feet. Their appearance was a sort of challenge chal-lenge to the world. Where else may a family of such height and bulk be found? . . Of course, the Taggarts height is partly part-ly a matter of inheritance. James Tag-gart, Tag-gart, their father, was six feet - two inches in his stockings, and weighed .89 pounds, while Mrs. Taggart herself was six feet in height. James Taggart died eleven years ago. He had just arrived at his majonty when he came to this country from the County Antrim. Ireland.
