A number of the ward members attended the funeral of Sergeant Laurel D. Larsen of Mink Creek last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Dehnar Olson and son, Nathan, made a trip to Poca-tello Poca-tello last Saturday. They assisted Mr. and Mrs. Paul Larsen in moving. mov-ing. Paul Hansen and Delores Hansen spent the week-end with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen. Sacrament services Sunday proved prov-ed very interesting. The Elders were in charge. Russell Wester-berg Wester-berg presided. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith both gave very fine talks. Mignon, Marlene, and Karen Smith favored with the song "Idaho." Mr. and Mrs. Christian Jensen and children, Zina and Mark, visited visit-ed Sunday in Preston with Charles and Myrle McKenzie. William Watson and Mrs. Clarice Sloan visited Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Chris Hansen who has ,i ,i fr S X 'I' !' 'I 'I' I fr ' been quite ill for some time. Miss Anna Bergquist of Ogden visied over the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Bergquist. Berg-quist. Mrs. Oneta Forsgren and Mayor Clifford Forsgren of Preston were guest speakers in the Sunday evening eve-ning conjoint meting. The Mink Creek band. under the direction ot DeVerl Hurst presented a concert afterwards. Several of the ward members tt tended Primary conference in Mink Creek Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Selma Bergquist and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs Bertha Bateman motored to Ogden, Monday. Miss Anna Bergquist accompanied them back to Ogden. |
