Mr. and Mrs. Earl Crockett and family from Boulder, Colo., spent a lev: days of last week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Cornish and other relatives. Bud Wickham underwent an appendicitis ap-pendicitis operation at the Preston hospital Monday. Colleen Wright was in Salt Lake City Friday where she took part iu a piano selection contest in the Union building. Mrs. Lester Jackson of Rexburg spent the past two weeks at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joseph A. Stone. Mrs. Dora Aitken has returned home after spending a week in Mil-ford Mil-ford at the home of her niece, Mrs. E. J. Smith and family. Mathias Bowcut underwent a . major operation at the Preston hospital, hos-pital, Sunday. Walt Wickham and Ernest Bow-cut Bow-cut left Monday for Price, Utah, to shear sheep. Mrs. Thelma Doney underwent a minor operation at a Logan hospital, hos-pital, Tuesday. The operetta "Betty Lou" was presented Wednesday night by the students of the high school. It was conducted by Stratford Smith and accompanied by Mary Smith. Dean Porter was the prompter. Properties were taken care of by Stanley Atkinson and Woodrow Porter and make-up by Vinton Merrill Mer-rill and Opal Checketts. The cast Included Meda Chatterton, Phyllis Phyl-lis Stokes, Shirley Stokes, Mar-Jean Mar-Jean Wickham, Colleen Wright, Beth Marshall, Spencer Parkinson, Lyman Jensen, Calvin Parkinson, Devor Geary, Mary Jane Handy and Ralph Lundgreen and a chorus p 17 boys and girls.
