His daughter, Lillis, and her husband Truman Kiffoy and their family, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jensen and family, all of Cle eland, sponsored a party at the home of Mr. Keller. Among the remainder of those present were Mrs. Annie Keller. Anion and Guy Smith, and Mrs. Louise Crane and daughter, Merle, who were specially special-ly invited guests of Farrel Jensen. They enjoyed an evening of music and dancing after which refreshments refresh-ments were served, j The joint Primary association of Mink Creek and Glencoe held its annual Primary conference last Sunday. Mrs. Lillian Nelson, president pres-ident of the Primary, took charge. Each class of the Primary under the direction of its leader had a part on the program. There was a large attendance from Glencoe and Mink Creek and the program proved prov-ed very interesting to all those in attendance. The' Mink Creek School band gave a concert in Glencoe Sunday night. There was a large audience and they enjoyed the music very much. There was also a piano solo by Miss Betty May Taylor and a girls' trio including Gloria Nelson, Helen Johnson, and Mrs. Maxine Hansen. Mrs. Clifford Forsgren of Preston was main speaker. Mrs. Hyrum Johnson had charge of the program. Miss Muriel Nelson, who is employed em-ployed in the Intermountain Knitting Knit-ting Mills of Ogden, came home last Friday. She is home indefinitely indefi-nitely due to an unfortunate injury on her wrist, which has made it impossible for her to work. The Junior Class of the Mink Creek High school is making elaborate elab-orate plans for their Junior Prom on Friday, April 17. They are using us-ing a patriotic theme tor their decorations and it promises to be a gala event. , Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Smith and two children, Adele and Norma Jean of Cedar City, Utah, visited in Mink Creek with Lorin's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Anne Keller, over the week-end from April 11 to 13. Lorin is employed as a teacher in a defense S'Chool in Cedar City. |
