Show SELECTIVE SERVICE REGISTRATION TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY County Draft Boards and Registrars Are Announced Everyone Between 21 and 35 Must Register; . Registration Places Given Machinery for the registration of all men between the ages of 21 and 85 under the selective service conscription con-scription legislation was set up in Franklin county this week and officials of-ficials awaited only registration day on next Wednesday, October 16. Operating on a national scale, it is expected that over 16,000,000 in that age range will be registered in the United States on the 16th. In Idaho, registration will be handled hand-led by counties who in torn are using the regular polling precinct machinery to handle the huge task. "It is imperative that every man between the ages of 21 and 35 present himself for registration regis-tration on October 16th. There Is a stiff penalty for any attempt at-tempt or neglect on the part of anyone to evade registration," according to a statement from Norman B. Adkison, Idaho executive ex-ecutive officer. A good rule to follow, if you are in the age ranges, is to appear for registration, because you must register reg-ister even if you might be exempt from the actual draft service. Illness or absence from your community doesn't mean exemption exemp-tion from registering, it is reported. report-ed. If out of town, either register at the nearest board , and have them send your card to your home community, or make arrangements to file your registration with the local board within a few days after the 16th. Registration places will be at the polling places in all communities com-munities in the county with the exception of the four Preston Pres-ton precincts. In Preston, persons per-sons residing in all precincts are requested1 to report to1 the county courthouse. Members of the local Selective Service Board are A. B. Nash, C. L.
