The Junior girls held a Junior Festival Tuesday night for their mothers. The girls furnished a program, after which they gave a four course dinner. The theme of the evening was "Etiquette at the Table." Everyone had a good time. The program was under direction di-rection of Mrs. Magdalene Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Smltn and daughter, Barbara spent Sunday visiting friends and relatives at Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Meecham are the parents of a baby girl born April 26. Mrs. E. F. Smith spent a few days last week with I'r. and Mrs. W. F. and J. I. Smith. Mrs. Adra. Forsgren spent Monday Mon-day in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Packer are the proud grandparents of a baby boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Mont Packer in Salt Lake City on May 1. The Beehive Girls held their graduation exercises Sunday night. The program was as follow: Song, congregation; prayer, Jean Marie Meek; solo, Barbara Smith; Scripture Scrip-ture readings, Audra Mae Winger and LaRue Edwards; solo, Lucille Meek; theme, Jean Marie Meek; talk, Walter Rindlisbaker and Mrs. Elaine Smith; song, congregation; prayer LuDean Packer. Mrs James Woolf spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs Cecil Camp in Malad. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Smart of Preston spent Sunday with Mr. ana Mrs. Roy Bosen. Mr. and Mrs. Estus Packer spent Sunday in Lewiston visiting Mrs. A. B. Smith. Mrs. Susie Meecham from Wyoming Wyo-ming spent Sunday with Mrs. Lida Vale. Mrs. John Chadwick of Ogden spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Estus Packer. Mr. and Mrs. Landa Meecham from California spent a few days this week with Mrs. Lida Vale. They came to attend his father's funeral, Leon Meecham. Miss Louella Forsgren spent Saturday Sat-urday with Mr. and Mrs. Halo Hart in Preston. |
