Show mmmmammmwmmmmxm MINK CREEK NEWS NOTES By Anna Beth Jensen mmmmmmmmmrnmumsm. MINK CREEK The Parent-Teachers' Parent-Teachers' association met last Wednesday night. New officers were elected including Orlando Rasmuisen, president; Mrs. Elma Keller, vice president; and Marlow C. Woodward, secretary. A program pro-gram was presented including a vocal solo by Varon Jensen, a sax-aphone sax-aphone solo by Dallas Keller and a cornet solo by Mardell Nelson. Light refreshments were served and the meeting was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Mrs. Mahalia Jensen, Mrs. Ada Jensen, George Jensen, Ivon Jensen Jen-sen and Joan Jensen accompanied by Mrs. W. R. Jones, their mother of Logan, motored to Salt Lake City last Saturday morning. The purpose of the trip was to consult con-sult an eye specialist. They return ed that same evening. Mrs. Gladys Johnson of California Califor-nia visited last week with her mother Mrs. Louie Hopkins. Quentin Nelson is leaving for the army at 5 a. m. Friday morning, morn-ing, October 24. Julius Jepsen of Glencoe ward was the visiting missionary in Mink. Creek last Sunday. He gave a talk in Sacrament meeting. Mrs. Annie Keller entertained at dinner for several relatives inclua-ing inclua-ing Ernest Keller of Iona, Claude Keller and his mother, Mrs.- Delilah Deli-lah Keller and Leslie Keller on Sunday. Curtis Keller and Neldon Wilde are working in the forest service. Mr. and Mrs. William E. Crane, Mrs. Mahalia Jensen and Mrs. Ada Jensen attended Relief Society conference con-ference Sunday in the high school auditorium in Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Farnsworth of Grace, Idaho, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Nelson, Sunday. Mrs. L. A. Bright of Llnrose visited vis-ited for several days last week with her daughter Mrs. Leon Bell. Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Smith and daughter, Dixie, of Rexburg visited over the week-end With their parents par-ents in Rlverdale, and Mink Creek. The Relief Society opening social so-cial was held on Tuesday of last week. Ada Jensen and Anna Wilde gave readings and games were played. Refreshments were served by the officers. The Mutual officers are presenting present-ing the Mutual Harvest Ball in Mink Creek next Friday, October 24. |
