Show visited the Martin Harris grave. After which they enjoyed a lunch at the Smithfield park. There were 41 children in the group shaper-oned shaper-oned by teachers, Marge Hendry, Mrs. Carrie Price, Mary Perkins, Margaret Litz and Mrs.' Belva Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Maughan and family of Layton called on Mrs. Howard Jones on Monday evening on their way home from a weeks trip through Yellow stone Park. On their way home they made a visit to their sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. E. Von Almen at Bedford, Wyo. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. P. Maughan at Soda Springs and Mrs. D. P. Maughan and family at Groce. Idaho. Mrs. D. J. Jones came home Wednesday after spending a week at Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Copen. The Just-A-Mere 'club met on Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Louis M. Perkins. The time was spent making flowers for floats for Founders' day. A reading was given by Mrs. Donna Leishman. Twelve ladies were present. pre-sent. Roy Darley is spending the week end at Grace, Idaho with Bob Young. The members of the Book of Mo:mon department of the Wells-ville Wells-ville Sunday school enjoyed a swim at Logana on Tuesday evening. Twenty-six were in the grci'p and were accompanied by Teacher, Merlin Leishman and recreation leader, Fred Leishman. Mr. and Mrs. Steel Leatham are happy over the arrival of a son born at a Logan hospital on Saturday Sat-urday evening. All concerned are doing fine. Miss Nelda Stoddard was hostess at a party given at her home Wednesday evening in honor of Miss Valene Peterson of Benson ward. Those present were, the Misses Value Peterson, Gayla Larsen, Ivy Gene Smith, Ella Garrett, Wanda Leishman, Bonnie Archibald; Gene Bradshaw, Jane Wyatt, Helen Stuart and Messrs Clyde Smith, Dean Bradshaw, La Verl Hall, Reed Bradshaw, Dale Bradshaw, Dee Stoddard, Devar Balls, and Dewayne Ricks. Games were enjoyed and refreshments served. Miss Adell Jones is vacationing at Grace and Soda Springs, Idaho with relatives. WELLSVILLE ! . Murray, Clifton, Idaho, Luella Wright and Ella Parker of Logan. Mrs. Haycock was presented with a beautiful going away gift. Mrs. Howard Jones entertained at dinner on Wednesday evening in honor of her husband who was observing his birthday anniversary. Red roses centered the table where covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Mrs. D. J. Jones, Joseph Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Jones, Mr. and Mrs. John Larsen, D. H. Maughan Mrs. Jane Parkinson, Miss Adell Jones, Dee, Howard and Max Jones. Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. James Neaves re-j turned home Wednesday evening after a five day trip to Idaho Falls where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Williamson and then .spent two days n Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Perkins, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Louis " Alvord, Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Murray and ' Mrs. Russell Stuart enjoyed horse back riding, after which supper was served in New Canyon, south west of town. Thy came back to the rodeo grounds where they were entertained enter-tained by Slym, the cowboy, with his quitar and beautiful songs. Levi Dunn and Leland Nelson of Brigham City spent Monday evening here with Mrs. Alice Miller. Mil-ler. Mr. Dunn who is a son in law of Mrs. Miller is just out of the hospital after having undergone an operation for the amputation of one of his legs.
