l Karl Ferrin Named Coach At Evanston ' Karl "Pinky" Ferrin, Aggie grid-der grid-der of last season, was awarded a coaching contract at the junior high school at Evanston, Wyoming, Wyom-ing, Professor J. R. Jenson, of the physical education department at the college, announced this week, Ferrin will coach all athletics and teach physical education. For three years the Arizona redhead has played at the pivot post for Dick Romney's Aggie teams. He has alternated with El-vin El-vin Wayment most of the time however, last season Wayment was injured early in the campaign and Ferrin was left with the task of completing the year without any aid. Ferrin, small in stature, was a hard fighter and made up for his lack in size by outsmarting his opponents. He was graduated" from Utah State Agricultural Cofllege last spring majoring in history and minoring in physical education. With his experience as an athlete in football and as a competitor in intramural sports Ferrin should make a fine coach. He began his duties Tuesday morning.
