Show Hyrum Ladies . Literary Club Hold Session Hyrum. The Ladies Literary club met at the South Cache high school, Wednesday afternoon, with Mrs. William H. Terry as hostess. Mr. Terry presented some of his band members in, a musical program. pro-gram. The room was decorated in patriotic colors, and the table .was adorned with red and white .sveet peas. Special guests were, Mrs. Lorenzo C. Petersen, Mrs. Isaac Bradley, Mrs. Malinda Liljenquist of Hyrum and Mrs. Griffin, of Newton. Mrs. Merril Baxter, club president presi-dent announced that the annual club breakfast will be held Feb. 22 at the home of Mrs. Milton Allen, with Mrs. Milton Allen andMrs. Austin Allen as Hostesses. - At the conclusion of the meeting, meet-ing, E. J. Wilson Jr., supervised a fashion show, presenting models wearing some most exquisite dresses dres-ses and suits, showing various types and styles that will be- produced pro-duced and are available in . his new factory in Logan. Marybell, small daughter ot. Mr. and 'Mrs. Russell Brown is very seriously ill with, pneumonia. A most delightful program was given at the chapel exercises Tuesday Tues-day morning at the South Cache high school. The exercises were under the direction of Mr. Terry, and he presented a very unusual musical program. He gave a demonstration dem-onstration with some of his band members, showing the relationship of one instrument to another as used in bands, his object was to show tone color. Wednesday a Lincoln's Birthday program was given at the school, under the direction of the student stu-dent body. Prayer was, offered by C. L. Hall, after which an instrumental instru-mental duet was presented by Paul Christiansen and Lindon Leatham. Mr. S. A. Dunn, gave a very interesting talk on, S'The Life of Lincoln". During the.1 afternoon af-ternoon a matinee dance was enjoyed. en-joyed. . ' Mrs. Heber Jensen left town Sunday for Idaho, where she will visit with relatives in different parts of the state before she returns re-turns to Sheridan, Wyoming, to visit 'with her daughter Lillian, again. ' Mr. and Mrs. Norman Seamons, I of Hyde Park are the proud parents par-ents of a new daughter, born to the mearl yin the week. Mrs. Seamons Sea-mons was formerly Lucille Wright of this city, and friends will be glad to hear that she and the child are doing well. |
