A prettily arranged luncheon with valentine motifs was served at the close of the afternoon to 19 club members and the following guests: Mrs. Lil-lie Lil-lie McQuarrie, Miss Eulalia, Lee, Mrs. Susie Morse and Mrs. Roland Reese. - The following people attended the funeral services of Dr. I. S. Smith in Logan Wednesday: Bishop and Mrs. J. W. Seamons, Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Ballam, Mrs. Hattie Lee and Mrs. Mabel Duce. Miss Carrie McQuarrie, Miss Elaine Christoffersen, Miss Athalie Howell, Miss June Burgess, Bob Woolf, Leo Matkin, Mack Balls and Lyman Perkes attended a party in Logan Wednesday evening given by Miss Nilson in honor of all couples in the Cache stake who danced the M.I.A. dance. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Webb and daughter, Myrtle, returned recently recent-ly from a two weeks visit in California. Cal-ifornia. Miss Afton Christoffersen, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Christoffersen, Chris-toffersen, is recovering at a local hospital from an appendicitis operation op-eration she underwent recently.
