Show Educational . Opportunity' In U. S. Army Colonel William C. Webb, Army Recruiting officer for the Rocky Mountain Area announced that 28 men had been enlisted during the first 10 days of February. Of this number, two were enlisted in the Air Corps at Hamilton Field, California Cal-ifornia and two for Crissy Field, California. The remainder were assigned to the 38th Infantry at Fort Douglas; many of these young men enlisted with a view to taking tak-ing advantages of the educational opportunities offered at Fort Douglas. Doug-las. The strength of the 38th Infantry Infan-try has been increased from 887 on January 7, 1936 to 953 at the present pres-ent time, Colonel Webb said. Persons desiring information should write the Recruiting officer offi-cer for information about the date that a Recruiting Party wil bej in their home town. j Applicants must be of good character, single and between 18 and 35 years of age.
