Mrs. Clinger is survived by i brother, Chris. Christensen, of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer c'oulsen, and a grandson, Orrin Whit-1 ock, of Mayfield, and a grandson, Theron Clinger, of Gunnison. ioneer Day Program. Miss Zelda Whitlock reigned as i 'Utah" on Pioneer day. Her maids of honor were Bessie Thompson and Lu-! rene Voorhees. Carl Reburg and family of Walla Walla, Wash., have spent the past two weeks at Mayfield with relatives and friends. Croft Christensen, son of Hyrum ' Christensen, left for Boise, Idaho, last Tuesday, where he will have employment employ-ment in a store. Ranger and Mrs. Merrill Anderson Ander-son of Orangeville, with their fam-ly, fam-ly, spent last week-end with rela-: tives and friends. Mrs. Frank Whitlock, who has been a guest of her sister, Mrs. Merrill Anderson, for the past three weeks, re'.urned to her home last Friday. Raymond Larson, who has been attending at-tending the B. Y. U. summer school the past six weeks, returned home Friday. Mrs. Albert Rosenlund and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Rosenlund of McGill, Nev., arrived at Gunnison Monday. They visited over the 24th with relatives rela-tives and friends in Gunnison and Mayfield. Wednesday they left for Colorado, where the Rosenlunds will make their future home. In the ball game Sunday between Mayfield and Spring City, at Spring City, Mayfield lost the game with a score of 5-3. Mrs. O. J. Christiansen left for Spring Canyon last Friday, where she will spend two or three weeks with her husband. Mrs. S. P. Peterson of Ephraim, spent last week visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Udell Christiansen. I Postmaster Joseph A. Christiansen j returned home from the Salina hospital hos-pital last Wednesday. He had under- I gone an operation for acute appendi citis. Mr. Christiansen feels very good now. |
