Show FROLIC AT MONROE SPRINGS. A party of eight, and including Mesdames J. M. Knighton, Ray B. Metcalf, Junius Metcalf, August Vil-lard, Vil-lard, Charles Lund, Oscar J. Tolck, Aice Duggins and Lyda B. Duggins, motored to Monroe recently and tendered ten-dered a surprise to Mrs. Loretta Kidman, Kid-man, who is supervising a kindergar- ten school there. After visiting with Mrs. Kidman, the party went to the famous springs, where a luncheon was enjoyed, followed by a plunge in the famous swimming pool. The swimming party was turned into a contest event, and Mrs. Ray B. Metcalf Met-calf was victor in most events. After the refreshing swim, the group organized or-ganized a "Pleasure" club, and elected elect-ed Mrs. Kidman as president and Mrs. Tolck as secretary. At six o'clock luncheon was enjoyed, and the concluding number was a spirited game of bridge. |
