The final score was 22-20. It required an extra three-minute three-minute period, however, to settle the controversy. At the end of the last quarter the score stood 20 all and in the extra play the academy boys succeeded suc-ceeded in shooting a field basket, giving them the extra count. The Bulldogs, starting with a vim and realizing they were battling with the league leaders, put up the best exhibition yet seen on the local floor. They held their adversaries at their mercy all through the game, leading at the end of the first quarter and at the close of the third quarter they were one point ahead. Wasatch rallied at this point and with the close tied the score. By holding Wasatch down to the close score the local boys gave fine evidence of their progress and they won the plaudits of the fans present. Tollestrup, playing center for the Gunnison boys, scored high with 12 noints. Dalpaiz, right forward for Wasatch, carried off the honors for the visitors by making ten points. The score: GUNNISON. G. The Bulldogs will trek to Ephraim tonight to do battle with the college i city lads.
