Show Timely Snowstorm Benefit to Ranges Gunnison Valley's long period ' of summer weather, was summarily checked Sunday night when the first real snowstorm swooped down from the north. Until Sunday evening the day was bright and warm, but a sudden sud-den change came with a fierce gale from the north. Soon snow began fall 'ng, but only for a short time and the ground showed, but a mere covering. Tuesday night, however, another storm came and for several hours the snow fell, the total being about three inches in depth. With the storm the thermometer dropped several degrees and the populace shivered, the sud den change from warm weather to ex treme cold having its affect on humanity. hu-manity. The storm "was general throughout the southern sections of the state and will result in untold good. Stockmen Stock-men ranging sheep on the western deserts of Utah, were greatly alarmed alarm-ed over possible losses for lack of feed and water, but advices from the west district are to the effect that while the snow was not as heavy as was wanted, the results of the storm will prove highly valuable, Sanpete and Sevier valleys and districts east west, north and south were visited by the storm.
