On the opening day, Monday, 34 little students stu-dents registered and Wednesday this number had increased to 40. The students stu-dents range from 4 to 6 years of age, and thus far have progressed highly satisfactorily, according to Mrs. L. J. Kidman and Mrs. Charlotte Villard, instructors employed under the teachers' teach-ers' relief program. The few days this week while the school is) in session, a major portion of the time has been devoted to getting get-ting acquainted, and there has been no difficulty in this measure. All the classes are joining in the movement, with the determination to make the best of the opportunity. Next week a varied program of work will be started, start-ed, and will include picture making, drawings, and' incidentally programs will be intermingled. Due to. the large registration and the limited space for conducting the classes, two 2-hour sessions are held daily. The morning session opens at 9:30 and continues until 11:30. The afternoon classes open at 1 and1 close at 3 p. m. |
