Show Fish and Game Club Plans Busy Season More than the usual activities will be set in motion at the Sanpete County Coun-ty Fish & Game club's preserve, near Fayette this season, and projects tried out last year will be materially increased for 1934. Club members, at a meeting held at Manti Saturday evening, discussed many of the important im-portant problems, with the decision that the propagation and breeding of wild ducks would be paramount. It was shown that the conditions were . ideal for this purpose, and extra care is to be taken that ample protection and less molestation will be given thm wild birds. It was annonunced also that the muskrat business, which has been a feature during the closed season, sea-son, will be materially increased. The club reaped a pretty fair return on rats last year, notwithstanding tho fact that prices were somewhat low- . er than ordinarily. Experimentations were made with turkey raising during the 1933 season, sea-son, and this proved successful. This year, it is announced, 1500 poult-!, now being brooded at Ephraim, will be turned loose on the hunting ground. In addition to this there are now twenty-five turkey hens laying and hatching on the club's property. At the annual meeting Saturday night at Manti, officers were chosen for the year, as follows: Stanley Jor-gensen, Jor-gensen, Manti, president, and H. R. Clark, Manti, as vice-president. Ira Overfelt of Gunnison, serving as secretary sec-retary of the club for several years, was again reelected. The board of directors di-rectors will consist of Charles Ras-mussen Ras-mussen and Ira Overfelt of Gunnison; Golden Sanderson, Fairview; Chas. Eatinger, Mt. Pleasant; Otto Nielson and Wilford Anderson of Ephraim; Stanley Jorgensen, Ieslie Anderson and H. R. Clark, Manti.
