The business sessions, ses-sions, accord'ng to Ray E. Carr, secretary sec-retary of the clubs, will be held at the usual hours Saturday at 3 p. m. and Sunday at 9 a. m. The meetings will be held in the Panguitch Lions club hall, and the banquet is set for 7:30 prompt, Saturday. A dancing party will be held at 9:30 Saturday evening. Visits to Bryce Canyon and Pangu'tch lake will likely be on the program Sunday. President Frank G. Martines requests re-quests that members give consideration considera-tion before the meeting to the new liquor law that gives state control to beer retailers in c'ties and counties. There has been a great deal of dis-i dis-i cuss'on on this. Many feel that cities nd counties should be permitted to issue licenses for the sale of light I beer as they see fit. Our organization has never taken la stand on anything pertaining to liquor hut this question s more a matter of rights for divisions of the government other than the state. The i thing to consder is whether we I should take a stand, and if so what There are also many other matters to be given attention and the officers offi-cers urge as many members as pos-1 pos-1 sible to attend. |
