Show PAMPHLET IS ISSUED ON UNDERGROUND WATER A pamphlet, entitled "Water Laws of Utah," has just been published and is available to anyone wishing a copy, according to T. H. Humpherys, state engineer, by addressing the state engineer's office at Salt Lake City and enclosing 25 cents in postage post-age stamps or coin. The new publication, publica-tion, no doubt, will prove of high value, particularly to water users. Embodied in the rul'ngs passed by the state legislature of 1935, is full information as to requirements in making claims and filings upon the unappropriated underground waters of the state. As will be remembered, dur'ng the drouth of last season, when water was at a premium, much litigation and contention arose as to the rights of filing on the underground under-ground waters. The new provisions enacted by the last legislature, however, how-ever, have cleared up many matters, all of which are fully explained in the recent pamphlet publ'shed by the state engineer. |
