Show NORMA ROSENLUND ILL. Norma Rosenlund, the 7-year-old granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Duggins, is seriously ill at a Salt Lake hospital, where she was taken Thursday of last week. The little girl suffered a severe attack of acute dysentery, and later symptoms of peritonitis developed. It was necessary neces-sary to perform an extremely delicate operation, and the bowels and other organs were removed and cleansed. In the operation the appendix was removed and it was found that this organ had become entangled with the intestines, causing the dangerous conditions. Norma, it was first reported, re-ported, was in a serious condition, and little hopes were held for her recovery. When she was stricken she was hurried to Salt Lake, being accompanied ac-companied by M. M. Duggins, MVs. Lyda Duggins and Julius Duggins. |
