Bishop Toll nan of Honeyville was in town a few days ago. lie told a Brci.Eii reporter that he thought the great majority of the people up his way were in favor of the coming of the east branch of Hie canal. The people of that section need more water and they will doubtless embrace this opportunity to increase their present limited supply sup-ply by laboring for shares. Fruitful Fruit-ful and bounteous gardens and orchards will be deemed priceless acquisitions. The question of extending the cast branch of the Bear 1 liver Canal is again receiving attention. With this branch completed, a large tract of land extending from Dcweyvillc to Call's Fort, taking in Honeyville, and another large scope ol country on Bear River north-west of Brig-ham Brig-ham City would be benefited. Several hundred acres of land within with-in our city could he turned into fruitful orchards. B. C. Standard Cor. |
