Show A BRICK YARD. Almost Limitless Quantities of a Super- j ior Clay North of Town. The old brick yard north of town is ''deader than a door nail," to use a common expression. The place is cleared off with the exception excep-tion of a pile of old, crumbled, half-burned half-burned bricks and a stray, broken wheelbarrow or two. It is a pity this brick yard cannot be in operation opera-tion during the summer mouths, at least. The almost limitless quantities of superior clay to be found there would justify the establishment of quite an extensive brick manufactory. Good brick are alwavs in demand, and some ofthe best ever had in the city were made at this yard. Start it up and thus give employment to idle men. |
